We stayed in Lincoln last night. I was pretty excited to learn that they ended up getting me a separate room. Even with that small blessing, I still woke up every half hour :(
The car ride ended up being uneventful. I watched Resident Evil 1 & 2. Lunch was a sad affair, however. Dad & I decided to try a hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop. He loved his, but my meal left a lot to be desired!
Saw flood waters of the Missouri. It was insane! It covered about a lane of traffic on the highway. I was able to get some awesome pictures from the car.
We should reach Memphis tomorrow. Luckily, the trip has remained calm. Mom is still playing her games. She's playing the "anxiety attack" card. Having diagnosed OCD, it drives me nuts.
Spent some time in the pool. The water was perfect! After, sat reading pool-side for awhile. Nice!
Anyway, I'm sitting on my bed watching Sy-Fy Channel & trying to decide how long I want to read. *blink* I am so exhausted, but the book is so interesting!!! LoL, the life & times of a book junkie ;)

Music
Just finished the final touches of my Memphis playlist. Here's what I have:
That is 4.1 hours of music! That should keep my entertained for awhile. Plus, I have a bunch of DVDs already packed up. I need to catch up on Record of the Lodoss Wars, Trinity Blood, Rune Soldier, and enjoy the Blade movies and Resident Evil.
I took a break to head up to the mountains with parents, their dog, and Juneau. She climbed 6ft. + drifts of snow! Unfortunately, she has now decided to stay outside when I need to pick the hubby up for dinner *sigh*
Well, I just need to do a load of laundry and finish packing. We're off early tomorrow morning for a 3 day car ride. Then, sadly, my parents are being invade by old family friends (people I would rather not see after the mother lied and told my mom I was stealing money from her purse . . . She is a bitch. What more can I say?)

I started this blog as a way to express my thoughts and frustrations without any connection to the people I know and the blogs they know about. This is a personal space.
I'm leaving for a three week trip on Thursday. The closer the trip gets, the more aagitated I become. The fuse is getting shorter. After these last few weeks of my parents visiting, the thought of spending so much alone time with my mother terrifies me. *sigh*
To Take With Me:
At least the DVDs and iPod will keep me entertained and away from drama during the three day car ride.

I have an attitude. My favorite food is berry burst ice cream Oeros. I was homeschooled through high school and hated every minute of it. My favorite colours tend to be on the dark specrum, but I also love the combo of black and hot pink. At the moment, Synyster Gates, Matt Tuck, Shaun Morgan, and Karl Urban (specifically as Black Hat from Priest) take up most of my lustful hours. At night, drinking a little Malibu and Sprite is lovely, but my usual fall back is Dr Pepper. I would love to return to the UK and abandon the US. My favorite sweet guilty pleasure is tiramisu. And I am me.
